Festival FAQs

CAN I STILL BUY A CCM LIVE TICKET?
Tickets are available until Sunday 28 February, 7.30pm GMT. Head to ccmlive.co.uk/tickets for more information and to buy. If you are encountering any issues completing a purchase, specifically on a tablet, please head to ccmlive2021.eventbrite.co.uk to access the full version of the ticketing pages.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?
Over February 26-28, seven fantastic Scottish acts – Blazin’ Fiddles, Gnoss, Ímar, Jenna Reid, RURA, Siobhan Miller and Talisk – will broadcast live (yes, live!) from CaptureWorks in Glasgow, alongside brand new and exclusive sets from leading Finnish folk group Frigg, and multi award-winning Canadian roots duo Madison Violet. Tune in from the comfort of your sofa as we stream live, full-length, full production (and fully covid-safe!) festival sets to your homes. Nine acts over three nights, and one fantastic weekend of music.

WHO’S PLAYING WHEN?
Friday 26: Ímar – Madison Violet – Blazin’ Fiddles
Saturday 27: Jenna Reid – Frigg – Talisk
Sunday 28: Gnoss – Siobhan Miller – RURA

We will go live each night from 7.30pm GMT (following a 15-minute intro video, giving everyone time to get settled in), finishing at around 10.30pm. Whilst looking to recreate the live experience as much as possible, all three nights’ shows will also be available on demand for 48hrs after the live broadcast has ended.

I CAN ONLY MAKE ONE OR TWO OF THE SHOWS – CAN I BUY A DAY TICKET?
All tickets are full weekend passes. Our hope is that folks might tune in to the whole weekend, or dip in and out with the on-demand availability after live broadcast, and perhaps discover some new artists – much like a festival weekend.

I’VE GOT MY TICKET – HOW DO I ACCESS THE SHOWS?
You will receive daily emails over the weekend from our ticketing partner, EventBrite, with links to access that night’s coming stream, around an hour before we go live. These will be sent to the email addresses used to buy tickets, where you should have received a confirmation of purchase. If for any reason this didn’t arrive, please contact us on office@ccmlive.co.uk  ASAP to check.

I HAVEN’T RECEIVED ANY LOGIN INFO…
You don’t need any! The links contained in the emails from EventBrite will let you access that night’s broadcast – no logins required.

WHERE WILL THE FESTIVAL BE STREAMED? WHAT PLATFORM ARE YOU USING?
CCM Live will be streamed via YouTube Live. As the most popular video platform available worldwide, we are confident that this will provide a user-friendly experience for all.

CAN I TEST THE STREAM?
Our broadcasts will start at 7.15pm each night, with a 15 minute intro video before the show starts at 7.30pm. We’ll have some tunes on the playlist, counting down to us going live in Glasgow!

CAN I WATCH FROM OUTSIDE THE UK?
Absolutely, come away in! Let us know where you’re tuning in from.

CAN I WATCH ON MY TV?
If you have a smart TV, then most likely yes. Different models work in different ways, so it is worth checking your TV’s connectivity settings and user guides to find out the options available to you.

Many have the YouTube app built in, or available for download – all you need to do there is ensure the app is paired with your computer, tablet or phone and you will be able to watch on TV very easily. The daily links sent to access the stream will automatically open the YouTube app on your device, and prompt you to cast to the paired TV. As settings vary we cannot answer any individual questions of this nature, however the apps are designed to speak to each other so it’s worth checking these in advance of the live stream to make sure they are paired.

This should also be the case with Chromecast, and pairing via Apple TV is also possible.

Alternatively you might wish to connect your computer to the TV via an HDMI lead (borrow it from the DVD player!), and direct both the picture and sound to the TV output.

Please bear in mind that the quality of your live playback experience is largely dependent on the download speed you have from your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and/or mobile provider. Your internet speed can vary depending on many factors, such as the time of day, WiFi performance, other devices/users on your connection (it is recommended you disconnect any devices you are not using from WiFi during the live stream), and the strength of the signal provided by your ISP.

CAN I BUY A TICKET AS A GIFT?
Yes, absolutely – we just need their email address, so that they receive the streaming links. You can either use the guest checkout on EventBrite (if logged in, log out first) and use their email address – and they will receive an immediate confirmation. Or you can use your own email and forward the instructions to them. If you have already purchased your own pass on the same email address, you will receive two sets of instructions – as long as you each have a link, you’re all set.

I STILL HAVE A QUESTION…
Contact us on office@ccmlive.co.uk, and we’ll come back to you as soon as we can.
If the question relates to YouTube and/or casting to a TV, please see above and/or check the settings and compatibility of your TV first, as well as any online user guides. We will help as best we can, but are unlikely to be able to answer queries specific to brands or models.

ENJOY THE SHOW!
